The Client: Backwoods Land Co.

Backwoods Land Co. is a leader in buying and selling rural properties and land inr the great state of Mississippi. Their experienced agents also offer professional consulting in the areas of Timber, Land Management, and Conservation. 

Backwoods Land Co. approached Travis with their need to build a functioning and appealing website that specifically featured land for sale. Traditional MLS listing sites primarily focus on homes, apartments, condos, and commercial structures for sale and are not well-suited to the unique specifications that selling land requires. Thus, Backwoods sought to build out a real estate land listing website of their own, rather than continuing to go through other listing websites which were not meeting their specific needs. They wanted Travis to create a large website with better opportunities to promote land for sale in an attractive and user-friendly format. 

Nuzu Solutions

Travis and his team went to work on building a Backwoods site, complete with land listings for sale, as well as “land wanted” personals, a fun feature for people who are looking for a specific property type. This enabled Backwoods to promote both land for sale and buyers through two listing types. On the website back end, Nuzu created CRM integration, lead spreadsheets, and so on that allow categorization of leads and distribution of that information to the appropriate agent.

After the site build, Travis’ marketing team went to task on SEO campaigns, Google Ads, and Facebook and Instagram advertising. Integrations enable the latest listings to be displayed for people. Continued marketing and advertising efforts for Backwoods include posting listings on the website, local SEO for Google My Business, social media posting, and newsletter subscription management and production with Constant Contact integration as another contact point with clients. The result was that Backwoods is now able to reach a huge audience and consistently push their message out to potential clients and the general public.
